This ebay Buy-It-Now offering provides a tune up kit of new parts for the INGERSOLL RAND 1/2" drive Thundergun impact wrench model 232TGSL and 231, 231C models.  I have provided a sheet for: 231/231C and 232TGSL tools for easy comparison.  I also outline the part differences below for the different kits to help clarify some differences.From the 2 photos above the kit on the LEFT is the 232TGSL 231/231C tune up kit and the one on the right is the 231 TK3 kit.
8/11/21 Update. Several things have been brought to my attention about Ingersoll Rand 231 models and 232 Thunderguns. 1. The notched rotor vanes that I provide with my IR tune up kits will perform better on tool startup when the notches are all facing FORWARD AND TOWARD the hammer frame. 2. On some tune up kits I may supply either sealed bearings or open bearings as shown in the avatar auction photo. Sealed bearings I supply which come with metal or rubber seals can be easily removed with a small screwdriver. They do not need lubricant as a maintenance item. Contrary to that, Ingersoll Rand provides grease fittings on many of their pneumatic tools for greasing of the rear bearing through the hollow rotor shaft and then forward into the hammer case. The grease is intended to lube the hammer frame components. I have never encouraged the external greasing of sealed impact wrenches even though this is by IR design to be done...regularly. If you are injecting grease by hand pump or with pneumatic assistance you have no idea how much grease you are putting into your tool. Too much grease will pack the hammer frame and cause the tool to perform poorly much the same way that overfilling your engine crankcase with oil cause engine damage. Undergreasing is not likely to happen in my experience nor is tool damage likely to occur from not greasing it regularly. Now, if you take the hammer case off annually and do some hand greasing of the hammer frame parts while inspecting for wear and damage this offers a better alternative to blindly greasing a sealed tool. IF YOU FEEL STRONGLY THAT I SHOULD PROVIDE SEALED OR OPEN BEARINGS CONTRARY TO ANYTHING I HAVE STATED ABOVE JUST ASK ME TO PROVIDE SEALED OR OPEN BEARINGS IN YOUR KIT EITHER IN ADVANCE OF YOUR KIT PURCHASE OR IMMEDIATELY AFTER AND BEFORE I SHIP IT. I GUARANTEE THAT IT DOES NOT MATTER WHICH BEARINGS YOU CHOOSE OR THAT I CHOOSE FOR YOU SO LONG AS YOU READ MY CAUTIONARY WORDS AND PAY HEED TO THEM IN THIS ITEM DESCRIPTION. YOU WILL NOT BE WRONG WITH ANY CHOICE YOU MAKE.3. On ultimate tool performance testing the removal of the seals on bearings can very slightly improve the tool performance. 4. My personal recommendation is to use sealed bearings. Forget about doing periodic greasing but attend to the bearings when you tune up your tool every 3 to 5 years. Avoid over greasing the bearings. They don't need it. 
This Thundergun 232TGSL tune up kit is different and improved for this application over the regular 231-TK3 tune up kit because:1) notched vane blades matching the IR #2131-42A (6) are included.2) **405-159 throttle valve face viton seal.  These 2 parts fit 231/231C and 232TGSL but won't fit 231 HA series which use a 231HP-TK1 kit.
***The standard 231 TK3 kit will also work for this same application.
